UP: 10 IAS officials transferred; 4 new postings

Lucknow, May 22: The Uttar Pradesh government tonight alloted posts to four wait-listed as officers while transferring ten others.

According to official sources, Pricipal secretary Youth Welfare Department Anant Kumar Singh has been appointed Director General Prisons, while Chief Executive NOIDA K Ravindra Nayar will be the new Director Administration in the Medical and Health Department.

Taj Express Authority and Greater NOIDA's Additional Chief Executive Officer Santosh Kumar Srivastava has been kept on the waiting list, while Principal Secretary Finance Manjit Singh has been transferred to the Irrigation Department in similar capacity.

Principal Secretary, Labour Harminder Raj Singh takes over as Principal Secretary, Excise&Sugar and Cane Development, while incumbent Principal Secretary Excise Kapil Dev takes over his post in the Labour Department.

Member (Legal) Revenue Board SN Shukla takes over as the Administator of Cooperative Societies, while Commissioner and Director, Mandi Parishad RK TIwari has been shifted as Transport Commissioner.

Managing Director of the Kanpur-based Handicraft Development Corporation Chanchal Kumar will be the new Consolidation Commissioner of the state.

Apart from this, the four waitlisted officials whose posting orders have been issued include Ramendra Tripathi as the director of the State Geological Directorate and Alok Sinha as the Inspector General, Registration and Stamps.

Amrit Abhijat takes over as the new Director, Mandi Parishad and Jai Shanker Mishra as the Principal Secrtetary, Small Scale Industries.
