UP election results has exposed BJP
Jabalpur, May 11 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) General Secretary Prahlad Patel today said the results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections had exposed the BJP, which could manage about 50 seats only.
Mr Patel said this was worst ever performance of the BJP in the home state of its president Rajnath Singh in the past 15 years.
He described the cause for the defeat a result of the BJP discarding thinking leaders.
The BJS leader said his party withdrew its candidates from the hustings in view of VHP President Ashok Singhal's appeal in order to prevent division of Hindu votes.
However, it was evident now that the BJP was no longer a party of Hindus.
