SBI presents Rs 2.24 lakh cheque to HP Governor
Shimla, May 11 (UNI) The State Bank of India (SBI) today handed over a sum of Rs 2.24 lakh to the Shimla Red Cross Society for purchasing an ambulance, an official spokesman said.
Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje received the cheque of Rs 2,24,998 from the bank on the behalf of Shimla Red Cross Society here.
Speaking on the occasion, he said corporate sectors should come forward to donate liberally and give full cooperation to strengthen its objectives.
