Armed miscreants loot Jharkhand Swarnjayanti Express
Latehar, May 11 (UNI) Armed miscreants looted passengers and injured a Bihar Regiment jawan travelling in Jharkhand Swarnjayanti Express in between Barwadih-Latehar railway station in Jharkhand's Latehar district last night.
Police today said about 15 armed miscreants looted property of about Rs 50,000 at gunpoint from the passengers and shot at a jawan, identified as Vijay kumar Sanga, who resisted them.
The miscreant decamped with the valuables after pulling chain near Hehagarha railway station.
The injured jawan was admitted to a local hospital.
