India Argentina business meet begins in Mumbai
Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) A high-level India-Argentina Business Meet (IABM) begins here today to strengthen the bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
The high power business delegation from Argentina had formal interaction with their Indian counterparts regarding various perspective of bilateral trades.
The deligation from the central region of Argentina, headed by the Governors of three provinces--Cordoba, Entre Rios and Santa Fe, is in the city for promoting bilateral trade links in varied sectors.

Argentina
is
one
of
the
prominent
members
of
the
Latin
American
Trading
Bloc
MERCOSUR,
with
which
India
has
signed
a
Preferential
Trade
Agreement
(PTA).
The
aim
of
this
PTA
is
to
expand
and
strengthen
the
existing
relations
between
the
two
and
promote
the
expansion
of
trade
by
granting
reciprocal
fixed
tariff
preferences
with
the
ultimate
objective
of
creating
a
Free
Trade
Area.''
