Post offices to sell incense sticks

Vijayawada, Apr 18 (UNI) The Department of Posts, Andhra Pradesh has entered into a tie-up with Ambika Group to sell the latter's branded Agarbathis (incense sticks) through post offices in the Vijayawada region.

Launching the sale here today, Vijayawada Postmaster General B V Sudhakur said the branded incense sticks would be sold through 5000 post offices spread across Khammam, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and West Godavari districts.

Mr Sudhakur said they had launched 'Instant Money Order'(IMO) service at Vijayawada and Guntur head post offices on March six.

He said the department, for the first time in the country, would launch 'Post Net', a net centre here tomorrow with all facilities like internet browsing, printing and scanning.
