Manipur increases tally in Wushu and Taekwondo to 17

Guwahati, Feb 12 (UNI) Manipur continued to dominate in Wushu as they bagged seven gold medals today to increase their tally from the event to 13 gold in the 33rd National Games here.

From yesterday's six gold, four silver and one bronze medals, the North Eastern state's haul from the event now stands at 13 gold, six silver and seven bronze.

The newly introduced event has a total of 30 gold, 30 silver and 45 bronze medals on offer.

Asom, which bagged three gold and one bronze till yesterday, also won two more gold, one silver and three bronze today to remain second while Delhi increased their tally by winning two more gold to reach to four gold, five silver and three bronze for the third place.

Manipur also won three gold in Taekwondo today to take their gold count in the event to four while hosts Asom has so far won one gold, two silver and two bronze.
