Shiv Sena-BJP seat-sharing talks in progress: Manohar Joshi

Mumbai, Jan 1 (UNI) Former Maharashtra chief minister Manohar Joshi today said talks regarding sharing of seats between the Shiv Sena and the BJP for the forthcoming February 1 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, were in progress.

He was speaking to mediapersons at his maiden press conference here after his appointment as one of the four spokespersons of the Shiv Sena.

Besides Mr Joshi, the other three spokespersons- Mr Subhash Desai, Mr Sanjay Raut and Ms Nilam Gore were also present at the press conference.

Mr Joshi announced that from now onwards, a press conference would be held on a regular basis every Monday at the Sena Bhavan here.

The four spokespersons also took the opportunity to extend ''happy and prosperous'' new year greetings to all.
