3 students from Nagaland feared drowned
Panaji, Jan 1 (UNI) Three students from Nagaland, including a girl, were feared drowned off the Colva beach today.
Police said a team of 49 students and five others from the Agriculture University, Nagaland, who were on an all-India tour, arrived in Goa on December 30 and were staying at Vasco da Gama.
The group visited the Colva beach today and few students entered the waters for a swim. Three of them were washed away by the currents and were feared to be drowned, police said.
The three students have been identified as Vilasietuo (21), Zaiamo (22), and the girl, Ajungla (23). The police, with the help of the Coast Guard, is continuing a search for the three missing students.
The group was to return to Nagaland this evening.
