2 bootleggers held
Anand, Gujarat, Jan 1 (UNI) Police have arrested two persons, travelling in a car, for allegedly smuggling Indian Made Foreign Liqour (IMFL) into Gujarat.
The two have been identified as Bahadursinh Rathod and Jaswant Dabhi.
The duo were apprehended during a routine check by the local crime branch sleuths near the Vasad toll-naka late last evening.
During a search of their car, the police recovered 310 bottles of IMFL valued at about Rs 52,000. A third accomplice, Bismillah Khan Pathan, managed to escape, police said.
