Hyderabad, Dec 31 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today called upon Congress legislators of the Telangana region to withdraw their support to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Rao alleged that the Chief Minister was following to anti-Telangana policies and the entire Telangana region was reeling under power shortage.

He said the Congress legislators, who were committed to the region's welfare, should either withdraw their support to the Chief Minister or go to New Delhi and impress upon the party High Command to remove him.

Mr Rao said his party would intensify its protest against raising the height of the Pothireddypadu head regulator and non-availability of free current.

The party would also intensify its campaign about the diversion of water from the Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts in Telangana region.
