1,07,263 houses to be built in AP under INDIRAMMA scheme
Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 12 (UNI) Under the Integrated Novel Development in Rural and Model Area (Indiramma) scheme in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh, about 1,07,263 houses will be constructed for the poor people in 365 identified model villages.
Talking to UNI here today, Krishna district Joint Collector Sureshkumar Surendran Nair said the State Government had decided to acquire 751 acres of land for this purpose.
Mr Nair said so far, 80,000 house-site pattas were distributed and the process would be over by March, 2007.
