Rangasamy leaves for Delhi on urgent summons from Centre
Puducherry, Nov 12 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today left for New Delhi on an urgent call from the Centre.
Mr Rangasamy is expected to call on Union Home Minister Shivaraj Patil tomorrow on the issue of granting powers to the elected representatives of the local bodies here.
He would also call on party leaders to discuss the prevailing political situation here and to get the concurrence of the High Command to appoint chairpersons to various Boards and Government Undertakings.
PCC President P Shanmugham is already camping in the capital.
