Srinagar, Nov 12 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today distributed cheques of Rs one lakh each to the relatives of those killed in a grenade attack on a religious congregation near the Jamia Masjid at Tahab in Pulwama district on Friday.
An official spokesman said the Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama Mehraj Ahmed Kakroo, distributed the cheques to the relatives of those killed in the attack.
Six people were killed and about 40 others, including a top Muslim cleric, wounded in the grenade attack near the mosque just before the Friday prayers.
