DK stage demo condemning killing of Tamils in Sri Lanka

Puducherry, Nov 12 (UNI) Volunteers of the Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) today staged a demonstration at the Periyar statue here to condemn the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka.

The agitation, led by state president V S Sambandam, sought the intervention of the Centre to stop the massacre of Tamils in Lanka and to feed the starving Tamils through the Red Cross society.

The protestors also urged the Union Government to immediately halt the supply of arms to the Sri Lankan Army.
