Bomb blasts at Imphal, high alert sounded

Imphal, Nov 12 (UNI) A high alert was sounded at several places in Manipur following the bomb blast at the bridge connecting Uripok and Sagolband near here yesterday.

However, no one was injured in the blast, police said.

Meanwhile, the People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) today claimed the responsibility for the blast.

Security has been beefed up and the people asked to remain alert.

Police arrested two People's United Liberation Front (PULF) leaders from the city Airport here on Friday.
