Imphal, Nov 12 (UNI) The All Tribal Student's Union of Manipur (ATSUM) has called for a six day strike in the state from November 13 to protest the government's failure in fulfilling their demands.

The ATSUM said they were going to stage economic blockades at all the national highways in the state.

The ATSUM had been demanding reservation policy for tribals, extension of pension benefits to district council employees, conversion of 13 grant-in-aided high schools and extension of service of contract basis teachers.

The state goverment had not implemented the policies even after signing the agreements, ATSUM sources said.
