Annual conference on hypertension in Lucknow from Nov 29

Lucknow, Nov 12 (UNI) Medical experts and researchers from around the world would participate in the Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Hypertension 'BPCON' 2006 and International Symposium on Atheroscleros in hypertension diabetes and coronary heart disease' to be held here at Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI)from November 29.

The three-day conference will focus on the clinical approach from treatment based to preventive research both in the international and Indian contexts, while also leveraging on the recent advances and research efforts in these areas.

It will also address the area of preventive and predictive diagnoses and therapeutics, Dr Ashim Ghatak, the senior scientist at CDRI and the organising secretary of the conference said.

The eminent national and international faculty would present their papers during the course of the conference which have Keynote addresses, Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, Plenary sessions, Sponsored sessions, Free Paper sessions, Poster sessions and Panel / Interactive discussions, he added.
