An Engineer was killed in roof-collapse

Bangalore, Nov 12 (UNI) An engineer was killed and another ten persons were injured when a portion of a commercial complex under construction collapsed, at Mico Layout at the city outskirts, in the early hours today.

According to police sources a Civil Engineer identified as Prashanth Pandey (39) was killed in the mishap.

The incident, occurred at about 0245 hours when the deceased and others were taking rest under the roof of a commercial complex, which came down. While the engineer Prashanth Pandey who was trapped under the debris was killed another ten persons sustained minor injuries.

The injured were admitted to a private hospital in the city and were recovering the sources said.
