TV channel exposes UP policemen selling arms from Mall Khanas
New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) A TV news channel this evening exposed involvement of Uttar Pradesh policemen selling arms from government 'Mall Khanas'.
In an undercover operation by Cobrapost-Star News reporters purchased weapons deposited in government 'Mall Khanas' from policemen posted in three districts of Western UP for a few hundred rupees.
The channel revealed how such weapons could easily be obtained by any person who was willing to give money.
Weapons seized from criminals or recovered from a crime site, used in court as evidence, were kept sealed in 'Mall Khanas' for safe custody.
Not only this, the policemen were also ready to sell a kilogram of heroin for Rs one crore.
