Rajkot, Nov 11 (UNI) The Junagadh police today seized charas, ganja, Indian made foreign liquor(IMFL) and two fire-arms from an alleged bootlegger's house in Junagadh city.
Acting on a tip off, a police party raided the house of an alleged bootlegger Dilipbhai Valku near Girnar Darwaza in Junagadh city. A search of the house yielded 122 kgs ganja worth Rs 24 lakhs, 2.2 kg charas worth Rs 2.20 lakh, 17 cases of IMFL worth Rs 70 thousand and two country made pistols. The total value of the seizure amounted to Rs 27 lakh, police said.
A bootlegger and three women were arrested in this connection, and a efforts are in progress to nab the brother of the bootlegger, who had managed to escape from the scene, police added.
