32 teams for junior judo nationals

Chennai, Oct 31 (UNI) Judokas from Punjab, Haryana and Manipur are expected to vye for honours in the junior national judo championships to be held here from November 2 to 5.

Addressing a press conference here, Tamil Nadu Judo Association President W I Davaram said judokas from 32 teams would participate in the age groups of 14-17 years and 17-20 years.

While the boys will compete in five weight categories, the girls will compete in six weight categories.

Three hundred and sixty entries each have been received in the Boys and Girls sections.
