Poly Medicure Ltd net sales up 18.6%,

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Leading manufacturers of medical devices and disposables under the brand name, Polymed, Poly Medicure Ltd today reported the net sales during the quarter ending September 2006 at Rs 20.11 crore from Rs 16.95 crore in corresponding quarter last year showing an increase of 18.6 per cent.

The company also posted an increase of 38 per cent in its Profit After Tax (PAT) for the half year ending September 30, 2006 while net sales have gone up at Rs 41 crore compared to Rs 33 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During the same period, PAT also rose to Rs 2.01 crore, which is 28 percent higher than the PAT of Rs 1.59 crore registered last year.

The earning per share (EPS) of the company as on September 30, 2006 was Rs 3.72 per share as against Rs 2.96 per share in the corresponding period last year.

Polymed presently has two manufacturing facilities in Ballabgarh (Haryana) and one joint Venture in Egypt.
