Four per cent loans to be extended to women: Yediyurappa
Karkala, Karnataka, Oct 29 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister minister B S Yediyurappa today said that the government is planning to extend the subsidised loans at four per cent interest women belonging to self help groups.
Speaking after inaugurating the one-day BJP Mahila Samavesh here he said that the Government had already released an additional Rs 20 crore assistance to the SHGs in the state. It was also keen to create special marketing facilities for the products manufactured by the women SHGS.
The JDS-BJP coalition Government was committed ensure proper economic development of women and had taken up measures to provide a loan assistance of Rs 15000 each to the one lakh fisher women in the state.
