Food poison leaves nineteen holidaymakers sick
Digha, West Bengal, Oct 29 (UNI) At least 19 holidaymakers have taken ill, three of them seriously, after they ate food in a hotel in this resort of Mednapore district, police said today.
All nineteen sick people have been admitted to Digha State General Hospital last night, Dr Arijit Chakraborty, the CMOH East Midnapore District, Said. He said condition of three was serious.
They were taken ill after having dinner in the hotel last night, police added.
Police said a 56-member group from Rajarhat in South 24 Parganas was camping here for holidaying in the beach of Bay of Bengal.
