Chhatarpur, MP, Oct 29 (UNI) The Bharatiya Jan Shakti party has come up with more complaints regarding impartial treatment in the run-up to October 30 Vidisha and Malehra by-elections in Madhya Pradesh.

BJS President Uma Bharti has accused Chhatarpur Superintendent of Police Chanchalshekhar of bias and demanded postponement of Malehra by-poll.

She has demanded removal of the SP and driving out thousands of ''outsiders'' and ministers in the constituency besides action on other police complaints till today. She has warned of strict action in case her demands are not met.

The firebrand leader provided copies of memorandum given to poll observers in this regard to mediapersons yesterday.

The memorandum claimed that the BJP had violated the Model Code of Conduct by hosting a death feast for 10,000 people in view of death of a tribal recently.

Earlier, the Election Commission had removed Chhatarpur district panchayat CEO Ashish Gupta following complaints by the BJS that he was misusing his position to favour the ruling BJP. Mr Gupta was posted in the district for eight years.

A UNI report from Bhopal yesterday said, BJS Vice-President Chandraraj Singhvi took a strong exception to cancellation of a party election meeting in Jaitpura of Malehra pointing out that permission for conducting election meeting could not be cancelled by the district administration once granted.

He said the Collector had admitted that he cancelled the meeting.

However, he was not suspended and no disciplinary action was taken against him.

He alleged that BJP workers tried to set ablaze BJS President Uma Bharti's helicopter. In retaliation, the villagers tried to set ablaze Mr Chouhan's helicopter.

A UNI report from Vidisha yesterday said, BJP workers had stabbed and seriously injured BJS member Brajesh Meena, who undertook membership during an election meeting at Dhilori village two days back.

BJS candidate Raghunandan Sharma alleged that Satpada Station House Officer Ajit Pail refused to register a case initially on the matter.

However, after he sat on 'dharna', the SP intervened and a case was registered, he added.
