Bangalore, Sept 19 (UNI) Software solutions provider Telelogic will expand its operations in India by opening regional offices in Pune and New Delhi, Company President and Chief executive Officer Anders Lidbeck announced today.
Talking to newsmen here, he said besides the regional offices, two more offices would be opened in Chennai and Hyderabad by October. Telelogic India was now placed fourth within the company in terms of employee numbers.
Mr Lidbeck said that the company's turnover was expected to touch 500 million US dollars in three years and from 200 dollars it had achieved during the year 2005. "The expansion of Telelogic's operations in India is in line with Telelogic's '5X5Y' growth strategy that sets out the company's plan for organic and inorganic growth by a factor of five in five years", he added.
Replying to a question, Mr Lidbeck, however, refused to quantify the amount to be invested for expansion in India. "There is no dearth for funds for expansion," he added.
He said that the company's laboratory in Bangalore was its third largest, next only to the one in US and UK. The company had so far acquired three companies with latest being Rhopsody in June this year. It was looking for more acquisitions. However it was not looking for resourcing but for a stable product, he added.
Mr Lidbeck said "India is a strategic market that provides great potential and we are experiencing both strong growth and interest in our-solutions. We look forward to work closely with leading services companies to help them develop and deliver the latest systems and software." UNI MSP RS SB1444
