Bangalore, Sep 19 (UNI) Liquor baron and Janata Party leader Vijay Mallya today urged the Kumaraswamy-led JD(S)-BJP Government in Karnataka to seek a fresh mandate if it was not able to deliver the goods to the people.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the coalition partners were squabbling with each other regularly, instead of fulfilling the promises they had made to the people.

Mr Mallya said that though the Chief Minister had made several announcements, no action was visible on ground. Infrastructure in Bangalore was only becoming worse.

Declining to comment on the bribery charge levelled by BJP MLC Janardhana Reddy against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, he said the mining business in Northern Karnataka was ''quite messy'' and ''this is only the beginning''.

However, he justified export of iron ore, stating that the country had not created enough steel production capacity to use mined iron ore.
