Aizawl, Sep 8 (UNI) With the aim of nurturing sporting skills among school children the Mizoram government established about 29 sports academies in various disciplines in the state.
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) has been entrusted the task of setting of these academies with the help of various sports association across the state.
''The sports academies will help the school students learn the skills from various coaches at the very young age,'' SSA project co-ordinator Robert Romawia told UNI here today.
''The training session will be for one hour in the day and one hour in the evening and spoken English and Hindi would be taught as part of the session,'' he said.
