Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy orders suspension of four Govt Employees
Mysore, Sep 6 (UNI) Four government officials including Tahsildar of K R Nagara M P Varkhedy were kept under suspension following complaints of ' corruption and harassment' to the people.
The on-the-spot suspension was announced by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy at a function organised at Mirle in KR Nagara Taluk this morning. The decision by the Chief Minister came soon after a group of women rushed to the dias and complained to him about the harassment meted to them by these officials. Mr Kumaraswamy, on inquiring about the officials attitude towards the people, ordered suspension of Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Y N Chandramouli, Mirle Grama Panchayat Secretary K B Chandrasekhar and the Executive Engineer besides the Tahsildar.
He also warned against erring officials that stern action would be initiated against those who failed to respond to the aspirations of the people.
