Bangalore, May 16 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today: Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Bangarpet recorded 1 cm rainfall.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and appreciably above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 43.0 degrees celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Kolar and Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka .

Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Thundery development likely towards evening/night in some areas. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degrees celsius.
