Montego Bay, May 16 (UNI) Team India is likely to field all their star players in the only warm-up match before the ODI series against the West Indies while the Chris Gayle-Marlon Samuels-Carlton Baugh-Jerome Taylor quartet has been withdrawn from the Jamaica squad for the match scheduled here later today.
Coach of the Jamaican team Junior Bennett, on his first international assignment at the senior level, told a Jamaican newspaper that Gayle, Samuels, wicketkeeper Baugh and pacer Taylor will sit out the match.
In Baugh's absence, Keith Hibbert will don the keeper's gloves and St Catherine opener Dean Morgan has been drafted into the thirteen, even though he is likely to miss out on a place in the final 11.
Recovering from an injury, pacer Andre Richardson will share the new ball with West Indies fastbowlers Daren Powell and Jermaine Lawson.
Offie Bevon Brown, left-armer Nikita Miller and allrounder Donovan Sinclair will form the spin department in the Jamaica squad.
As coach Greg Chappell told earlier, Team India would like to get into the groove as soon as possible and they have only one warm-up match before the ODI series to adapt to the conditions here.
Team India is likely to field all top batsmen -- including Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
