Dawood's nephew killed in accident

Mumbai, Apr 27 (UNI) Danish Parkar (23), the nephew of Pakistan-based underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, and his two friends were killed and two others wounded in a road accident near Mangav taluka in neighbouring Raigarh district in the early hours today, police sources said.

The incident occurred when the car, in which the don's nephew along with four friends, was returning to the city from Goa, collided head-on with a truck on Goa-Mumbai highway at 0530 hrs today, sources added.

The bodies of Danish, the only son of don's elder sister Haseena Parkar, Imran Kalia, son of Dawood's late accomplice Hanif Motiwala and Saju Miya of Ajmer have been brought to the city. The injured have been admitted in Sion hospital here.

The bodies would be handed over to their relatives after post mortem, police said.

Meanwhile, police in civvies are keeping an eye on Garden Hall multi-storey apartment building at Nagpada in South Mumbai where Danish Parkar lived.

Iqbal Kaskar, the brother of Dawood Ibrahim, is the only male member of Ibrahim clan in India. But, he is lodged in a local jail in a case under MCOCA.

Dawood Ibrahim was declared a global terrorist by United States last year.
