Now women shooters disappoint at World Cup

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) After their rich exploits in the just concluded Melbourne Commonwealth Games, Indian shooters have been struggling to hit the bull's eye in the World Cup in Guangzhou in China and today was the turn of markswomen to stray off the target.

In the women's 25m Sports Pistol event, Saroja Kumari led the pack finishing 21st with a score of 575 .

Jaspal Rana's sister Sushma finished 36th with a score of 570 while Shweta Chowdhary was way behind at 40th with a score of 567.

The gold in this event was won by Lalita Yauhleuskaya of Australia with a score of 789.59 (587+202.5), the silver was won by Ying Chen of China witha score of 789 (586+203) while the Bronze was won by Gundegnaa Otryad of MGL with a score of 787.8 (583+204.8).
